FROM THE FOUNDER
From Golden Gloves to God's Purpose
My boxing journey began in 1992 when I was 6 years old in Denver, CO with a family friend. After training for a couple years, I stepped away from the sport, only to return at age 16. I trained at D-Town Boxing under Coach Anthony Barela. I was also a dedicated wrestler in high school.
In 2006 I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I continued boxing at different gyms across San Diego. During my service, I earned a spot on the West Coast Marine Corps Boxing Team. We competed throughout California, including the Golden Gloves Tournament in Los Angeles in 2009.
After leaving the Marines in 2010, I returned to Colorado to continue my boxing career and expanded into mixed martial arts. I trained at Factory X under Coach Marc Montoya and competed professionally. I went undefeated as an MMA fighter, fighting for Bellator and for Sparta Combat League.
In 2014, I turned my full attention to my family and to truly living life. Over time, I realized my real purpose is sharing the boxing skills I’ve built through the years. Today, I’m committed to using what God has given me to help others build confidence and strength.
I now live in Freeport, FL with my wife and two dogs. Here is where I coach and share my passion for the sport at Undisputed Boxing.

Undisputed Boxing Gym was built on the belief that true confidence is earned through discipline, hard work, and respect for the craft. We offer authentic, high-level boxing training for all levels—from first-time beginners to competitive fighters—led by experienced coaches who demand effort and accountability. Every session at Undisputed is designed to sharpen skill, build mental toughness, and develop elite conditioning in a motivating, no-excuses environment.
